There are essentially two components to a piano:
- A cloak-cast iron (fixed elements not subject to deterioration) that determine the project.
- Harmonic hammers that express its acoustic sound by means of the mechanical transmission of the keyboard.
Our restoration operates across the entirety of its complex design.
Our atelier is able to restore the original sound through the recovery of the original soundboard with innovative techniques aimed at internally restoring it whilst ensuring quality that meets the most demanding expectations.
Where the recovery of the original harmonic table is not possible, we are able to create a completely new table, faithful and conforming to the original, giving a new voice to the piano and yet maintaining the sound characteristics of each instrument.
Each table is reproduced by reconstructing its original shape and unique structure, the result being a technical process exclusive to the Vintage Piano construction patent.
The durability of the tuning is guaranteed by the replacement of the American maple solid wood and cross-laminated leather sergeant.
The restoration of the mechanics is meticulously evaluated to obtain the result of maximum dynamic control of the sound and to guarantee professional reliability. The services offered by our Vintage Piano are:
- New and suitable components
- Remake conforming to the original
- Restoration of the original parts
